Day 0: Arrival Makassar – Late Night Transfer
Arrive at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport at 7:20 PM. Your guide Hendrik meets you at arrival hall. Private transfer to hotel in Makassar for rest.

Day 1: Makassar – Rammang-Rammang Karst – City Tour
Morning: Drive 1.5h to Rammang-Rammang, Maros. Boat trip through stunning limestone karst mountains + walk to "Stone Garden". One of Indonesia’s most cinematic landscapes.
Afternoon: Return to Makassar for city tour: 99-Dome Mosque – architectural icon + Fort Rotterdam – 400-year-old Dutch fortress. Sunset at Losari Beach.
Overnight: Hotel in Makassar | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Makassar – Sengkang – Lake Tempe Floating Village
6-hour scenic drive to Sengkang, home of the Bugis people. Afternoon: Traditional canoe boat trip on Lake Tempe. Visit floating fishing villages, meet local families, see daily life on water. Coffee + fried bananas on the lake.

Day 3: Sengkang – Tana Toraja Highlands
6-hour drive up to Tana Toraja. Stop at Kabobong viewpoint for mountain coffee with valley views. Afternoon arrival in Rantepao. Stop at Burake Hill to see Southeast Asia’s tallest Jesus statue with 360° view of Toraja valley. Check in hotel, relax in cool mountain air 18°C.

Day 4: Meet Toraja – South Toraja Culture Tour
Full day cultural immersion:
1. Lemo – Royal cliff graves with rows of "Tau Tau" ancestral statues
2. Sangrapuang – Sacred baby graves inside living trees
3. Tampang Allo – Natural cave burial site with ancient wooden coffins
4. Karuaya Village – Walk through authentic Tongkonan village, meet locals in traditional houses .
Overnight: Toraja Santai Hotel | Meals: Full Board
Day 5: North Toraja – Nature & Megalithic Tour
Explore Toraja landscapes: Palawa – traditional village with perfect row of Tongkonan houses. Drive up for mountain views to Tinimbayo Hill – endless rice terrace panorama. Continue to Batutumonga – “Land Above the Clouds”. Afternoon: Bori Megalithic Stones – ancient ceremonial stones + Lombok Parinding Cave with 100+ year-old burial jars.

Day 6: Rambu Solo Ceremony + Traditional Market
The highlight: Attend an authentic Rambu Solo Toraja funeral ceremony. A powerful celebration of life, family, and ancestors with music, dancing, and rituals. Your German/English guide explains meaning & etiquette respectfully.
Afternoon: Bolu Traditional Market – buffalo market and center of Toraja trade.

Day 7: Toraja – Back to Makassar – Fly Out
Early morning 8-hour scenic drive back to Makassar Airport. Stop for lunch en route. Drop off at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport for your flight home. Tour ends. Safe flight!
