Day 1: Makassar Arrival – Karst Wonders & City Lights
Arrive at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport. Your licensed, English-speaking guide welcomes you. Explore Rammang-Rammang in Maros — a hidden karst village straight out of a movie. Continue with Makassar City Tour: the breathtaking 99-Dome Mosque & historic Fort Rotterdam. Overnight in Makassar.
Day 2: The Road to Toraja
Scenic drive into the highlands. Stop for legendary Toraja coffee at Bamba Puang with mountain views that reset your soul. Arrive, breathe the cool air, and settle in. Overnight in Toraja.
Day 3: South Toraja Cultural Heart
Walk through living history:
1. Lemo – royal cliff graves guarded by rows of Tau-Tau
2. Sangrampuang – sacred baby graves inside living trees
3. Tampang Allo – ancient cave echoing with centuries of stories
4. Karuaya – authentic village of soaring Tongkonan houses
Day 4: North Toraja Nature Escape
Hike through untouched villages & landscapes: Palawa traditional village, Tinimbayo hill with infinite rice fields, village trekking, Bori megalithic stone site, and Lombok Parinding cave with 100+ year-old burial jars.
Day 5: Rambu Solo – The Sacred Ceremony
Experience Toraja’s world-renowned funeral ritual. A powerful, colorful celebration of life, family, and ancestors. One of the rarest cultural moments on Earth.
Day 6: Toraja to Sengkang – Lake Tempe & Floating Life
6-hour scenic drive to Sengkang. Visit Lake Tempe: watch fishermen in floating houses and enjoy their warm hospitality with local coffee & fried banana. If the sky is clear, catch a golden sunset over the lake. Overnight in Sengkang.
Day 7: Sengkang to Bira Beach
Journey 7 hours to Bira — Tanjung Bira, famous for powder-white sand and turquoise water. Check in and unwind to the sound of waves. Overnight in Bira.
Day 8: Island Hopping & Snorkeling
Boat 45 minutes to a tiny, pristine island near Bira. Swim in crystal-clear water and snorkel over vibrant coral reefs. Pure tropical paradise. Overnight in Bira.
Day 9: Bira Cultural Tour
